Bhopal, September 3 (HS). Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that PM Kisan Samridhi Kendra will be established in every Gram Panchayat. Along with soybean crop, jowar, millet, maize crops should also be encouraged. Various types of information along with fertilizers, seeds, agricultural equipment, soil testing should be made available to farmers at one place through PM Kisan Samridhi Kendras.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the officials in the review meeting of the Cooperative Department at the Secretariat here on Tuesday. Apex Bank Managing Director Manoj Gupta presented a dividend cheque of Rs 4 crore 27 lakh to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Cooperative Minister Vishwas Sarang, Chief Secretary Veera Rana, Additional Chief Secretary Chief Minister’s Office Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Mohammad Suleman, officials of cooperative institutions and senior officials were present in the meeting.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that National Cooperative Development Corporation has approved five oil mills in the state. 235 Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendras will be opened in the state. He said that a state level innovation cell has been formed. New cooperative societies have been formed under One District-One Product. He said that a plan should be prepared to make the district cooperative banks more strong.

The works of Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Housing Federation and various liabilities of Madhya Pradesh State Marketing Federation were discussed in the meeting. It was told in the meeting that the state government has invested share capital of Rs 142 crore in Apex Bank. Modern banking facilities have been increased in the bank. 38 District Cooperative Central Banks of the state are working on Core Banking Solution system. Apex Bank has earned a cumulative profit of Rs 131.83 crore. Apex Bank has given a dividend of Rs 12 crore 10 lakh to the state government in the last 4 years. Training programs are being conducted well by Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Federation. Sugar factories are functioning in Burhanpur and Khargone.

The benefits of irrigation projects should reach the ST dominated areas on time

Addressing the review meeting of Narmada Control Board at the Secretariat on Tuesday, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the benefits of irrigation projects should reach the Scheduled Tribe dominated areas on time and in the right manner. Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda, Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat, Chief Secretary Veera Rana, Additional Chief Secretary Chief Minister’s Office Dr. Rajoura along with senior officers and members were present in the meeting.

Various irrigation projects were discussed in the meeting. Information was given about the tender and approval of the projects. It was told in the meeting that Scheduled Tribe dominated areas will get more benefits from irrigation projects.
