The agricultural sector in India still remains the backbone of the economy. Several schemes are being run by the Central Government for the empowerment of farmers and their financial assistance. How many installments have been sent so far?
Under the PM Kisan Yojana, farmers are given a total financial assistance of ₹ 6000 per year in three installments of ₹ 2000 every four months. So far, 19 installments have been released under this scheme and farmers are eagerly waiting for the 20th installment.
When will the 20th installment come?
Regarding the 20th installment, it is being speculated that in June 2025, this installment can be transferred to farmers’ bank accounts. However, it is necessary to complete some essential formalities to get the installment, otherwise the money may be interrupted.
Do this work done before April 30
The Agriculture Department has recently made it mandatory for all beneficial farmers to get agricultural ID cards. In the notice issued by the department, it has been clarified that farmers who will not get agricultural ID cards before 30 April 2025, may have trouble getting 20th installment.

- Revenue department office
- Office of Agriculture Department at Block or Tehsil level
