To overcome these disturbances, the state government has launched a special campaign, which will run till 31 May.
Under this special “Pradhan Mantri Kisan Satuppi Abhiyan”, joint teams of Agriculture and Revenue Department will go to the houses of all registered farmers of the state and inspect them. During the inspection, the problems of farmers, such as land marking, Aadhaar link bank account and e-KYC related issues will be solved on the spot. With this, the information of the beneficiaries of the scheme will be correct and the benefits will reach their accounts directly.
In addition, the process of removing the names of the deceased beneficiaries in the campaign and adding names of their heirs will also be done. Clear instructions have been issued by the Principal Secretary of the Agriculture Department to all the mandalayuktis and the District Magistrates in this regard, so that the campaign can be conducted smoothly.
The accounts of the beneficiaries which do not meet the eligibility terms during the campaign will be declared “ineligible”. If the amount has been deposited in the account of a ineligible person, then he will also be recovered.
The importance of this campaign has also increased because the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is going to be released in the month of June. The state government has instructed all the farmers to solve all their pending problems by May 31 so that they do not be deprived of the benefits of the upcoming installment.
