PM farmer 20th installment: Good news for farmers across the country! Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan), the 20th installment is likely to be deposited in bank accounts of farmers in June 2025. Under this installment, eligible farmers will get financial assistance of Rs 2,000 directly in their bank accounts. Earlier, the 19th installment was released on 24 February 2025, which benefited more than 9.8 crore farmers including 2.4 crore women farmers.
What are the benefits of PM Kisan Yojana?
The PM Kisan Yojana provides financial assistance of Rs 2,000 to eligible farmers every four months. Thus, an annual subsidy of Rs 6,000 is deposited in the farmers’ account. These installments are given during April-July, August-November and December-March. This amount is deposited directly in the bank accounts of farmers through direct benefit transfer (DBT). The scheme was started by the then Finance Minister Piyush Goyal in the 2019 interim budget and later it was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Today this scheme has become the world’s largest direct benefit transfer scheme.
E-kYC mandatory
It is mandatory for farmers to complete e-KYC to avail this scheme. According to the official website of PM farmer, it is mandatory for registered farmers to get e-KYC. Farmers can do e-KYC on the portal using OTP or complete biometric KYC by visiting the nearest CSC center.

– Enter the registration number and captcha code, then click ‘Get Data’.
-The situation will appear on the screen.

-Select Rajya, district, sub-district, block and village.
-Click ‘Get Riport’, and the list will be displayed.
