There is a lot of good news for crores of farmers waiting for the 19th installment under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The government releases a installment of Rs 2,000 every four months under the PM-Kisan Yojana for financial assistance of farmers. In this way, a total of Rs 6,000 is given annually in three installments.

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan told the press conference on Friday that 9.6 crore farmers had benefited during the 18th installment, which has now increased to 9.8 crores.

How much amount the farmers have received till now?

So far, the government has distributed Rs 3.46 lakh crore under the PM Kisan Yojana. After the release of the 19th installment, this amount will reach Rs 3.68 lakh crore.

How will farmers get benefit?

This amount will be sent directly to the farmers through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) directly to their bank accounts. The PM Kisan Yojana launched in February 2019 is the world’s largest direct benefit transfer (DBT) scheme, which helps farmers in seeds, fertilizers and agricultural works.

Now all the farmers are waiting for 24 February, when PM Modi will release this amount.
