Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released the 19th installment of PM Kisan Yojana from Bhagalpur in Bihar on 24 February. During this period, Rs 22,500 crore has been transferred to bank accounts of 9.8 crore farmers.

Benefits of PM Kisan scheme and amount transferred so far

  • The government offers a installment of ₹ 2,000 every four months.
  • The farmers get help of ₹ 6,000 annually.
  • So far, ₹ 3.46 lakh crore has been given to 11 crore farmers through 18 installments.

How to check the status of 19th installment?

If you want to know whether the money comes to your account or not, you can check the status online on the PM-Kisan portal.

  1. Go to the official website of PM-Kisan.
  2. Click on ‘Beneficiary Status’ option.
  3. Enter Aadhaar number or bank account number.
  4. Click ‘Get Data’.
  5. The status of your installment will appear on the screen.

E-KYC is necessary, otherwise installment may be stuck

E-KYC is mandatory, without completing it, PM Kisan scheme will not get the benefit. There are three options to do this:

  • OTP-based e-KYC: PM-Kisan with portal and mobile app.
  • Biometric e-KYC: Go to the nearest CSC (Common Service Center).
  • Face Authentication E-KYC: PM-Kisan with mobile app.

Who is not eligible under PM-Kisan scheme?

The benefit of this scheme will not be available to institutional landholders, income tax payers, persons holding constitutional posts (eg MP, MLA, Mayor, District Panchayat President) and government employees.

If you are eligible and your installment does not come, then update the e-KYC and check the status on the PM-Kisan portal!
