The wait for the 19th installment to the farmers under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is about to end. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer the amount of this installment on 24 February 2025 at 2 pm. This time a total of Rs 22,000 crore will be sent to the bank accounts of 9.8 crore farmers. According to the government, the number of beneficiaries during the 18th installment was 9.6 crore, which has now increased to 9.8 crores.
Where will the transfer from?
This transfer program will be held in Bhagalpur, Bihar. Prime Minister Modi will also be present on this occasion along with Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and many other ministers.

PM Kisan Yojana: What is the benefit?
- Under this scheme, farmers are given Rs 2,000 every four months.
- A total of Rs 6,000 is assisted in three installments in a year.
- So far, Rs 3.46 lakh crore has been transferred to farmers’ accounts.
- After the release of the 19th installment, this figure will reach Rs 3.68 lakh crore.
eKYC mandatory
- EKYC is necessary for the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana.
- The OTP based EKYC PM is available on the Kisan portal.
- For biometric-based EKYC you have to go to the nearest CSC center.
- Now farmers can get information related to the plan in their language through ‘Kisan E-Mitra’ AI Chatbot.
