Ratlam (Madhya Pradesh): BJP organised a seminar under the Bharat Ratna Dr B R Ambedkar Samman Abhiyan in Ratlam on Friday. The event was attended by Deputy CM Jagdish Devda, former MLA Gopi Krishna Nema and BJP district president Pradeep Upadhyay.

The seminar began with a tribute to the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack, with a two-minute silence. Devda condemned the attack as a cowardly act, affirming that the nation stands with PM Narendra Modi.

He praised Dr Ambedkar for his advocacy for the oppressed and said the BJP, under Modi’s leadership, is following Ambedkar’s vision of development for all.

Former MLA Nema spoke about the false propaganda during the elections, claiming the Constitution was at risk under BJP rule. He assured that the BJP has respected the Constitution, with PM making amendments to benefit all communities. The event included a song dedicated to Ambedkar, presented by Prayag Chawre.

District general secretary Sangeeta Charel welcomed the attendees and the programme was conducted by district general secretary Nirmal Katariya.

Devda inaugurates art exhibition

Deputy CM Jagdish Devda inaugurated an art exhibition of artist Sonu Soni’s (23) at Sony Art Gallery. He congratulated Sonu for creating such divine and impressive pieces at a young age, adding that these artworks carry not only illustration but also deep emotion and devotion.

He also emphasised the importance of promoting this unique art on both national and international platforms.
