On Thursday, January 2, a plane crashed in Southern California. According to local media, a small plane crashed into the roof of a furniture warehouse. Two people died in this accident and about 11 people are said to be injured.

In the footage that emerged, smoke was seen billowing from a hole in the roof of the warehouse where the plane hit the building at around 2:15 pm. Along with this, the fire brigade reached the incident site and rescued the injured.

A fire broke out on the spot after the accident. The warehouse, which contained sewing machines and textile stores, was damaged in the fire. According to a sign on the door, furniture upholstery company Michael Nichols Designs operated in the building.

According to the report, the police said that the injured have been taken to the hospital. Wells said it was not immediately known what type of plane it was or whether the injured were on the plane or on the ground.

The four-seat, single-engine plane crashed less than a minute after takeoff, flight tracking website FlightAware reported.

 

Security camera footage from wheel maker Ruchi Forge, located across the street, shows a huge explosion and huge plume of black smoke as the plane hits the leaning building.
