The woman reportedly refused to give a $2 tip, causing him to become angry. The suspect has been identified as 22-year-old Briana Alvelo. He stabbed the woman with a knife more than a dozen times. However, the woman survived this incident.
Woman assaulted for not giving tip
This incident happened in a motel in Florida. The woman was celebrating her birthday with her boyfriend and 5-year-old daughter and had ordered pizza. The woman gave a small tip to the delivery worker after ordering a $33 pizza. According to the Osceola County Sheriff, Alvelo didn’t like this. She returned to the motel at 10 pm on Sunday night with a mask on her face and a knife. Both of them attacked the woman. According to reports, Alvelo was allegedly stabbed 14 times before fleeing the scene.
The accused was arrested on the basis of CCTV
During the attack, the victim tried to save her daughter, but the attackers also attacked her on the back. She tried to call people for help, but Alvelo broke her phone. After the attack, the victim was taken to a local hospital, where he is in stable condition. On the basis of CCTV footage, the police have traced the accused and arrested him. He has been booked on charges of attempt to murder, home invasion, assault and kidnapping. However, his partner is also absconding. Alvelo was denied bail and is currently being held in the Osceola County Jail.
