Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Monday made an important statement on trade relations between India and the US. He said that the fees levied by India on America’s products are between 7 and 8 percent, which is not very high. The statement has recently come after the US imposing 26 percent additional tariffs on India. Piyush Goyal also shared his opinion about globalization. He said that we are entering the era of re -globalization, not in the era of going out of globalization. They believe that if a group of countries that follow fair trade practices are united, it can prove to be a golden opportunity for India.

Finally, Goyal supported India’s fees policies, saying that these policies are necessary to promote fair trade and provide protection against dumping. He said that India aims to protect its business interests, and for this India will continue to improve its policies globally.
