The vibrant courts of Vile Parle (W), Mumbai, came alive on April 12th and 13th as the Pickle Palooza Open 2025 showcased intense competition and electrifying rallies in the world of pickleball doubles.
In the opening match, the duo of Kunal/Atin started strong with a convincing 15-7 win over Kumar/Harsh. The excitement continued as Ruchit/Ashish edged past Chirag/Chetash in a nail-biting 14-13 encounter. However, Ruchit/Ashish couldn’t maintain the momentum in their next match, falling 3-15 to a dominant Kunal/Atin team. In the final clash, Chirag/Chetash bounced back with flair, defeating Kumar/Harsh 15-7.
The event was packed with thrilling performances, emerging rivalries, and showcased the growing enthusiasm for pickleball in the city.
Juba Sangha edge past Hans Capital FC
The Delhi Premier League, currently underway at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (Gate 13), has seen an exciting start as 12 teams battle it out for supremacy in the capital’s most anticipated football event running from 26th September through May.
In a thrilling opening match, Juba Sangha FC edged past Hans Capital FC with a narrow 1-0 victory, showcasing solid defense and disciplined play. Meanwhile, Delhi United FC delivered a commanding statement, demolishing AHBAB FC in a record-breaking 17-0 rout, displaying attacking brilliance and team coordination. In the third match, Garhwal United FC outclassed Signature FC with a dominant 6-0 win, adding to the high-scoring action of the league’s opening rounds.
