Cyber attack on India’s power grid is false
A post was going viral on social media, claiming that the Pakistani army had neutralized India’s 70% power grid through cyber attacks. The post was shared by accounts called “Global Defense Insight” and “Dr. Qamar Cheema”. The post states, “According to the Pakistani Army, 70 percent of India’s power grid has been closed due to cyber attack.”
The PIB fact check examined the claim and found that it was completely false. PIB posted from its official X account and said that it is completely false that Pakistan has shut down India’s 70% power grid through cyber attack.
This news is false that 70% of India’s power grid has come to a standstill.
