Phalgun Purnima has special significance in Hinduism. On this day Lord Shri Hari Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi are worshiped. It is believed that offering arghya to the moon on the day of Phalgun Purnima has special benefit. Every year the festival of Phalgun Purnima is celebrated on the full moon date of Shukla Paksha of Phalgun month. This year, Phalgun Purnima will start on 13 March 2025, on Thursday at 10:35 am and will be on 14 March 2025 till 12:12 pm. According to Udayatithi, Phalgun Purnima will be valid on 14 March, and Purnima fast and donation will be done on this day.

Bath: Bathing in the river in Brahma Muhurta on the day of Phalgun Purnima is considered very important. If it is not possible to bathe in the river, then mix Ganga water in bath water and take a bath in the house.

Pooja: On this day, Lakshmi and Narayan should be worshiped methodically. Offer yellow fruits, flowers and clothes to Lord Vishnu, while Maa Lakshmi should offer pink or red flowers and adornments.
