Personal information will no longer be able to hide in UP, complete transparency will be done on human property portal

News India Live, Digital Desk: The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a big step to increase administrative transparency and accountability. Now about eight lakh government employees of the state will not get a chance to hide their personal information. Through the Human Sampada portal, all the information related to the employees like departmental inquiry, foreign travel, punishment, etc. will be available online.

Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh informed that information about service details of employees like appointment, assignment, working, online transfer, annual assessment report (APR), salary withdrawal and service book is already available on the human estate portal. Now this portal will also include ongoing investigation, vigilance investigation, and prosecution related information.

The National Informatics Center (NIC) has completed the necessary technical system in the portal. During the promotion of employees, foreign travels or other administrative procedures, it will be investigated whether any departmental inquiry or prosecution is going on against the employee concerned. This will further speed up administrative work.

The Chief Secretary has directed senior officials of all departments to enter the details of pending investigations at the departmental level soon on the portal. This will strengthen the employee management system more systematic and digitally.

Employees’ organizations have welcomed the decision, but have also demanded to ensure the confidentiality and security of the data on the portal. The government has assured that the highest standards of data security and privacy will be followed.
