Breaking away from the traditional format, Jambhale Patil chose not to sit on the stage but directly among the students, striking up a free-flowing conversation about studies, sports, personal interests and life goals. He urged students to set clear targets, pursue their passions sincerely, and believe in their abilities. “Don’t study just because your parents ask you to. Study with genuine interest, and success will follow,” he said.

The session also highlighted the importance of sports in personal growth. “PCMC is committed to providing professional sports coaching, equipment and infrastructure. Students should strive to bring national recognition to the city through their achievements in sports,” he added.

Assistant Commissioner Vijaykumar Thorat, Secondary Education Officer Sangeeta Bangar, Headmaster Jayaram Vayal, Sports Head Rishikant Vachkal and several teachers and staff members were present for the programme.

Headmaster Jayaram Vayal also presented an overview of the school’s outstanding achievements in state and national-level sports competitions.

Taking students down memory lane, Jambhale Patil reminisced about his own humble beginnings in Nanded. “We didn’t have benches in school back then,” he said. After completing a degree in the Arts, he worked as a primary school teacher for three years before being encouraged by his mother to aim higher. Inspired, he began preparing for competitive exams and eventually joined the administrative services. “If you pursue your goal with consistent effort, success is bound to come,” he said.

“We aim to ensure the holistic development of students by helping them strike a balance between academics and sports. Through the Krida Prabodhini School, we are determined to produce athletes who can shine at the national and international levels. Today’s interaction helped us understand what more is needed to support our students, and we will plan accordingly,” said Pradip Jambhale Patil, Additional Commissioner, PCMC

“PCMC’s Krida Prabodhini School is not just an academic institution—it is a launchpad for future athletes. With the right mix of education and sports infrastructure, we are creating golden opportunities for students to shape their futures. The visit by the Additional Commissioner has further boosted the morale of our students,” added Vijaykumar Thorat, Assistant Commissioner, PCMC.
