Pawan Singh reacted to the defeat from Karakat seat of Bihar in 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
“I already said that my defeat will be discussed more than my victory.”
In fact, BJP had given Pawan Singh a ticket from Asansol seat in West Bengal, but he rejected the ticket citing personal reasons. He then contested as an independent candidate from Karakat seat in Bihar.

NDA candidate and Rashtriya Lok Morcha chief Upendra Kushwaha suffered a crushing defeat after Pawan Singh contested. CPI (Male) candidate Raja Ram Singh won from this seat under India alliance.
However, BJP expelled Pawan Singh on 22 May 2024 due to anti -party activities.
