After being delayed many times, and going through changes in the cast, finally Hera Pheri 3 is happening with the original cast, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty. Priyadarshan, who helmed the first instalment, is returning to the franchise, and everyone is eagerly waiting for the film. In fact, a few days ago, there were reports that the trio along with Priyadarshan shot for a promo of the movie.
Now, recently, Paresh Rawal shared the re-release trailer of Andaz Apna Apna. Replying to the post, a fan wrote, “We are waiting for Babu Bhai Mr. Teza.” To this, Rawal replied, “Soon soon ! Before the next monsoon !”
Well, we wonder if the veteran actor gave a hint about the release date of Hera Pheri 3 that will hit the big screens in the first half of 2026. Hera Pheri Franchise
In 2000, Hera Pheri was released and it was a remake of a Malayalam movie titled Ramji Rao Speaking. The Priyadarshan directorial got a fantastic response at the box office, and over the years, the film has received a cult status.
The sequel to the film, titled Phir Hera Pheri was released in 2006. It was directed by Neeraj Vora, and it also became a super hit at the box office.
Later Hera Pheri 3 was announced with Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal. The film had also started rolling but the shooting was later stalled, and the movie was shelved.
Finally, Hera Pheri 3 got back on track last year, and it was revealed that the original cast will be back with the OG director, Priyadarshan.
We simply can’t wait to laugh out loud in theatres again!
