Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Parents of students studying at FIITJEE coaching reached MP Nagar police station on Saturday and claimed that the classes at the coaching institute were not being held for past 10 days.
They informed that the coaching institute premises were locked and the teachers and other staff had resigned. The parents claimed that they paid hefty fee but now the future of their wards was uncertain. The parents demanded action against the managing director DK Goyal, local head Sumit Srivastava and other senior authorities of the coaching institute.
Bhopal branch of FIITJEE was being run in a building at MP Nagar, Zone 2 for the past many years. However, for the past 10 days the teachers refused to take classes. The enraged parents reached MP Nagar police station on Saturday and informed that they got their children admitted at FIIT JEE for the Class 9 to 12 in return of advance payment of fee.
Parents claimed that they deposited 90% of the course fee, which is Rs 1.50 lakh to Rs 6 lakh depending on class of the student. They said that the institute embezzled fee of over 400 students. Incharge at MP Nagar Police Station Jai Hind Sharma said a complaint had been received in this connection and further action would be taken following investigations. None of the officials of FIITJEE were available for comment in this connection.
