It is being told that the delay in saving the life of the children Manavanik was due to non -availability of ENT specialist and ambulance facility. After this, Manavanik’s condition became more serious. The family is in mourning with the death of the only son of the family.
At the time of the incident, the girl’s mother Neha was working in the house and father Mandeep was sitting in the verandah. While playing, the human reached the kitchen of the house. Where almonds were kept in a bowl. Manvik raised almonds and immediately put it in his mouth.
What did the family of the deceased child say?
Family members said that when Manvik picked up almonds, he got stuck in his neck. After this the child fainted. Seeing the child in this condition, family members got nervous and immediately took the child to the Community Health Center of Nagrota Suria. However, there was no ENT specialist doctor here, so Manvik was sent to Tanda Medical Hospital.
The ambulance arrived an hour later.
It is noteworthy that Tanda Medical College is 46 km from Nagrota Suria. In such a situation, the ambulance took more than one and a half hours to reach Tanda. Manvik’s grandfather, retired teacher Santokh Singh said that the ambulance arrived after an hour. When he reached Tanda Medical College, the doctor declared Manvik dead. On this matter, CMO Kangra Dr. Rajesh Guleria said that there is no delay in coming to the ambulance and if it has happened then cognizance of the case will be taken.
