The birth anniversary of Lord Parshuram will be celebrated on 29 April. This day is also the holy day of Akshaya Tritiya, which increases its religious significance even more.

Worship method:

High tax in Brahma Utsav at high tax Shanna Ar Safa Fatre Clothing Varni.

Clean the place of worship and install an idol or picture of Lord Parashurama.

Worship with water, sandalwood, akshat, full, scarf, lamp etc.

Offer kheer, fruit and panchamrit with Tulsi letters.

Chant the mantras of Lord Parashurama and recite the ‘Adyahardaya Stotra’.

Perform the Aarti of Pooja and distribute the Prasad.

Mantra of Parashuram Jayanti:

Gayatri Mantra Swaroop: “Om Brahmakshatraya Vidmahe Kshatriyan Dheemahi Tanno Ram: Prachodayat.”

Parashuram Gayatri Mantra: “Om Jamadagnayya Vidmahe Mahaviraya Dheemahi Tanno Parashurama: Prachodayat.”

Bija Mantra: “Om, ॐ rah ran rah parsushastaya namah.”

Chanting these mantras 11, 21 or 108 times is considered auspicious.

Important facts related to Parashurama:

Lord Parashurama was a devotee of Shiva and a symbol of justice. He gave Kshatriya disturbance to Dharti 21 times.

According to the Brahmavaivarta Purana, Lord Ganesha had stopped Parashurama from meeting Shiva on Mount Kailash, making him angry and broke a tooth of Ganesha.

In the third era, Lord Shri Ram broke Parashurama’s bow only on Sita’s wish. After this, Lord Shri Ram handed over his Sudarshan Chakra to him, which was with Shri Krishna in the Dwapar Yuga.

Bhishma Pitamah was such a sage during the Mahabharata period. In a dispute, Bhishma did not listen to Parashuram and then there was a war between the two.
