Fasting method and worship measures

After bathing in the morning, light a lamp in front of the idol of Lord Vishnu.

Chant Vishnu Chalisa and “Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya” mantra.

Offer Panchamrit, bananas, raisins, jaggery, and gram dal along with Tulsi Dal.

Keep fast all day and perform Vishnu Aarti on the evening.

The next day, donate the needy on Dwadashi and observe a fast.
