Panvel Municipal Corporation Begins Admissions for Loknete D. B. Patil English Medium School for Academic Year 2025–26 | Representative Photo
The Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC), in collaboration with iTeach Schools, has announced the commencement of the admission process for its first English medium school—Loknete D. B. Patil English Medium School—for the academic year 2025–26. The school is inviting applications for limited seats in Classes 2 to 6.
“The initiative is aimed at offering quality English medium education within the municipal limits. The school, located in Panvel, has been established to cater to the educational needs of local students, with preference being given to children residing within a 1 to 3-kilometre radius,” said an official.
OFficials informed that the admission process will be open from April 10 to April 20, 2025, and application forms will be accepted at the school premises from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, excluding Sundays and public holidays. A lottery system will be used to finalize admissions, with the draw scheduled to take place on April 23, 2025.
Admission of students will be based on eligibility criteria and availability of seats. Required documents include the child’s birth certificate, Aadhaar card, and proof of residence.
The parent’s Aadhaar card or voter ID is also necessary. For proof of address, documents such as a residence certificate, utility bills (electricity, telephone, or water), ration card, driving license, Panvel municipal tax receipt, nationalized bank passbook, or a registered rent agreement (in the case of rented accommodation) are acceptable.
The Panvel Municipal Corporation has urged parents to apply promptly due to the limited number of seats available.
