Maharashtra government’s ban on guardian ministers: A new government has been formed in Maharashtra. Work is continuing after the division of ministries. But the tension in Mahayuti is continuously increasing. On Sunday, the state government issued an order giving place to NCP and BJP leaders in the appointment of ministers in-charge of Nashik and Raigarh districts, sparking discontent in the Shinde faction of Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena is protesting at various places. As a result this order has been put on hold.

The Devendra Fadnavis-led Maharashtra government has decided to appoint BJP leader Girish Mahajan as minister in-charge of Nashik and NCP leader Aditi Tatkaren as minister in-charge of Raigarh. So Shiv Sena of Shinde group got angry. He protested and said that there should be transparency and equality in the selection of the minister in-charge.

In Maharashtra, the minister in charge is called the guardian minister. Who participates in the meetings of the schemes related to the development of the district and keeps an eye on all the matters. In such a situation, the tussle in the Mahayuti regarding the post of minister in-charge has increased. Shiv Sena is angry as the post of minister in-charge went to NCP and BJP. Shiv Sena expected that Bharat Gogavale would be made the minister in-charge of Raigarh, while Dada Bhuse would get the charge of Nashik. But, defying Shiv Sena’s expectations, Devendra Fadnavis’ cabinet handed over ministerial berths to BJP and NCP, leading to outrage.

ignore local equations

Local leaders of Shiv Sena said, ‘Local equations have been ignored by handing over the post of Guardian Minister to some other party. As a result, the state government immediately called a meeting and put a stay on the appointment of the guardian minister. Now he will hold a meeting with Shiv Sena and take a decision on this matter with the consent of all the parties. Shiv Sena believes that this decision will stop the pace of development in the area. There will also be dissatisfaction at the local level. Shinde’s popularity is quite high in both the districts.
