Palghar: Newly appointed Palghar District Council’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Manoj Rande, has assured that the administration will focus on addressing critical issues such as health, malnutrition, education, and water supply in the district. His approach aims not only to implement effective measures but also to ensure that the benefits reach those in need directly.
During a formal introduction with leading journalists from the district on Tuesday, CEO Rande engaged in constructive discussions about the prevailing issues and proposed solutions.
Speaking on the occasion, Rande emphasized the importance of tackling malnutrition, improving healthcare facilities, enhancing educational infrastructure, and addressing water scarcity. “Special attention will be given to the district’s malnutrition rates, education facilities, and water shortages. Effective measures will be taken to address these challenges,” he stated.
Journalists presented a comprehensive list of pressing issues, including malnutrition, child mortality, maternal deaths, migration, the problem of bogus doctors, housing schemes, grievances related to the Jal Jeevan Mission, the education system, healthcare facilities, and water scarcity.
They also criticized the district administration for allocating crores of rupees for tourism development but failing to provide adequate facilities for tourists. Instead of focusing on essential amenities, funds were being spent on items like paving blocks and the construction of toilets, while failing to create environments where tourists could stay comfortably for three to four days with their families.
Rande listened attentively to these concerns and assured that all suggestions and grievances raised by the journalists would be taken seriously. “Strict action will be taken against any irregularities found in the district administration. We will thoroughly review the suggestions provided by the media and make the necessary improvements. We are committed to maintaining strong coordination between the administration and the press,” he assured.
The discussion highlighted the district administration’s commitment to addressing critical issues effectively and fostering transparency and accountability in governance.
