Pakistan’s attack huge loss to Pakistani Air Force, 20% strength reduced, heavy devastation

The Indian Army carried out a historic aerial attack in Pakistan, killing more than 100 terrorists, including 10 members of the family of Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Masood Azhar. The campaign, called ‘Operation Sindoor’, began on 7 May and on 9-10 May, India carried out accurate attacks on 11 Pakistani air bases, destroying about 20% of Pakistan’s property. The attack used BrahMos missiles and Kamikes drones, making Pakistan’s air defense system ineffective.

Start of Operation Sindoor

The attack was carried out in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. On May 7, the Indian Air Force carried out air strikes on 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan and PoK, killing more than 100 terrorists, including 10 family members of Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Masood Azhar. After this attack, Pakistan tried to retaliate, but the Indian Army thwarted it.

Historical attack on 9-10 May

On the night of 9–10 May, India carried out accurate attacks on 11 major Pakistani airports including Noor Khan, Rafiq, Murid, Sukkur, Sialkot, Pasroor, Chunion, Sargodha, Skardu, Bholari and Jacobabad. In this attack, India used BrahMos missiles and advanced drones, causing heavy losses to the Pakistani Air Force. According to sources, major fighters like F-16 and JF-17 of Pakistan were destroyed in this attack and more than 50 people, including squadron leader Usman Yusuf, were killed in the attack on Bholari airbase.

Pakistan’s air defense system failed

The main reason for the success of this Indian operation was to neutralize Pakistan’s air defense system in Lahore. India weakened Pakistan’s air defense capabilities using Kamikes drones. The devastation on Bholari and Jacobabad air locations is clearly visible in satellite paintings, where ammunition depots and fighter aircraft have been completely destroyed.

Historical claim of India

The Government of India has described this action as historic, as this is the first time that a country has successfully attacked 11 air bases of a country with nuclear weapons. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that more than 100 terrorists were killed during Operation Sindoor and 11 Pakistani military establishments were destroyed in just three hours in the May 10 attack.

Heavy loss to Pakistan

About 20% of the assets of the Pakistan Air Force were destroyed in this attack, including important airports such as Sargodha and Bholari. In addition, ammunition depots and several fighter aircraft were destroyed. This attack of India has shocked Pakistan’s military capabilities and this action is considered to be a symbol of India’s military power and accuracy.

India’s policy clear

Through this attack, India has given a clear message that it will not compromise on terrorism. This action of the Indian Army not only destroyed the terrorist network, but also weakened Pakistan’s military power. The incident has launched a global debate about India’s military capabilities and resolutions.
