India Pakistan tension: After the Pahalgam terror attack, the Government of Pakistan and the army are continuously living in the shadow of the threat of war. Under this, Pakistan has banned all religious events in PoK for the next 10 days. It has also ordered to temporarily close more than 1,000 madrasas.
PoK Prime Minister Chaudhary Anwar-ul-Haq has also banned the entry of tourists into sensitive areas near the Neelam Valley and the Line of Control in view of the security situation. Religious madrasas have also been ordered to be closed for 10 days. Tight security arrangements have been made in PoK.
Two types of hot waves in Pakistan
Pakistani officer Hafiz Nazir Ahmed said, “We are afraid that India may target these madrasas as a terrorist training center.” Closing these madrasas temporarily is a precautionary measure. Two types of hot waves are responsible for this decision. One is a seasonal, while the other is the heat generated due to the anger of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Pakistan has decided to ban meetings and close madrasas keeping in mind the possibility of unrest.
Precautionary steps in Pak occupied Kashmir amid fears of war
The local government has ensured supply of food grains, medicines and other essential commodities amid fears of war in Pakistan -occupied Kashmir by India. One billion Pakistani rupees have been transferred to the emergency fund. Apart from this, owners of hotels, guesthouse and marriage hall have been asked to hand over their property to the army.
Ban on air services also
It has been announced that flights will be closed during May eight hours (from 8 am to 4 pm) in the airspace of Karachi and Lahore during May. Apart from this, flight services in Gilgit-Baltistan have also been banned. Additionally, five international and domestic flights were suspended in Islamabad due to bad weather or their route was changed.
India’s aggressive action against Pakistan
After the death of 26 people in the terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, Kashmir, the Indian government is constantly taking aggressive steps against Pakistan. India has taken various steps including suspending the Singhhu Water Treaty Agreement, canceling the visas of Pakistani citizens and reducing the number of officials in the Pakistan High Commission. The airspace of India has also been closed for Pakistan.
