Operation Sindoor: In Viral Video, Pakistani Man Says ‘Jai Hind’ | Instagram@abhayy_s

In the wake of India’s Operation Sindoor, a military response to the deadly attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, that killed 26 tourists and a local horse rider, voices surfaced from around the world, including that of prominent leaders, content creators, and citizens. Among them, a recent video shared by a Pakistani Hindu man and Instagram influencer, who perhaps lives away from his country, has gone viral, where he is seen supporting India’s strong action.

In the reel titled “Pakistani take on India strike”, Abhay S put down his opinion on India’s retaliation, stating that the country had every right to respond boldly to the attack in Pahalgam.

“I am Pakistani and I will say it straight. India had every right to hit back,” Abhay said in a video posted to Instagram.

He continued, pointing out the hypocrisy in the aftermath of the violence, “First, you attack their people, and when they respond, suddenly it’s all about peace, human rights. But where was that same energy when 26 innocent lives were lost?”. “Yes, no one prefers war. Neither India nor Pakistan. But when you start breeding terrorism, don’t act surprised when it comes back your way”, he added.

Abhay made it clear that he views India’s strike as a necessary response. He referred to the operation as “justice” from the lives lost in the recent terror attack. “India never started this. They just responded. And to me, that is not an act of war. That is just justice”, he said in the now-viral clip.

He concluded with a hard-hitting statement that resonated widely, “It’s easy to preach peace when it’s not your people getting killed.”

Sharing the video on Instagram, the Pakistani man wrote, “Jai Hind”.

India’s Operation Sindoor, launched on May 7, targeted nine terror camps belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Meanwhile, several Pakistani officials were reportedly seen attending the funerals of terrorists killed in the operation.
