Islamabad: Many Indian tourists were killed in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Nervous of India’s attack, Pakistan is pleading with the whole world. Now Islamabad has appealed to Muslim countries to save India from this crisis. Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Iftikhar Ahmed, described India’s action as a serious threat to peace and stability in South Asia.

A statement issued by the Pakistan Mission at the United Nations said that Ambassador Ahmed described India’s behavior as highly inflammatory, politically motivated and irresponsible. He underlined the severity of the regional situation and called upon the member countries to focus on long -term peace. Meanwhile, Pakistan has denied its role in the Pahalgam attack.

In addition, in response, he has taken steps such as suspending the Shimla Agreement, stopping trade with India and closing Pakistani airs for Indian aircraft. Pakistan has suffered the most due to the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has described the water coming from India as Pakistan’s lifeline and said that any action to stop it will be similar to war.

OIC made a statement on reducing stress

Ambassadors of the Islamic Cooperation Organization stressed the need to reduce stress through diplomatic mediums. The tension between India and Pakistan has increased considerably since the terrorist attack on 22 April in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan -backed militants have accused India of plotting the incident. India has taken strict diplomatic action against Pakistan by suspending the Indus Water Treaty. Along with this, steps have also been taken to cancel the visas of Pakistani citizens and to reduce the presence of politicians.
