Terrorists have attacked in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Waziristan of Pakistan. At least three people died while 11 people were injured in the terrorist attack. The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has condemned the attack.
At least three people, including a child, were killed and 11 others injured in three separate terrorist incidents in Pakistan’s restive northwest on Wednesday. Police said that the terrorists attacked a police post in Darban area of Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at 1 am, killing a police constable and a laborer and injuring two others.

Another incident occurred in Azam Warsak area of South Waziristan district, where a motorcycle bomb exploded, killing a child and injuring four others, police said. According to police, another incident took place in Mamakhel area of Bannu district, where at least five policemen were injured when a roadside bomb exploded.
What do the death figures say?
Earlier, according to an official report released on Monday, security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa killed 270 terrorists, including prominent terrorists, in 2024. According to the police department report released by the Provincial Information Directorate, the provincial police arrested 802 suspects during the operation. The report said 149 police officers were killed and 232 injured in the line of duty this year.
