Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari has been admitted to a hospital in Karachi due to fever and infection. This incident took place at such a time. While the country is facing economic crisis and inflation. There was also speculation that Zardari could go to Dubai for treatment. However, the authorities have denied this. This incident has raised questions on Pakistan’s healthcare system. Where common people are deprived of basic health services.

Treatment in Dubai

People in Pakistan are struggling with inflation and poverty, while the country’s President Asif Ali Zardari has been admitted to a private hospital in Karachi after his health deteriorated. According to reports, 69 -year -old Zardari was brought to Karachi from Nawabshah, about 300 km away due to high fever and infection. However, several reports claimed that they may have to go to Dubai for treatment. On Monday, President Zardari arrived in Nawabshah to offer Eid prayers. Earlier, he held a meeting with the leaders of his party. After this, his health deteriorated and he was immediately admitted to the hospital. Many medical tests have been done under the supervision of doctors.

Leaders clarified on going to Dubai

As soon as the news of Zardari’s illness spread, the rumor also spread that he would soon be taken to Dubai for treatment. However, senior Sindh minister Sharjil Inam Memon made it clear that Zardari’s health is improving and reports of taking him to Dubai are false. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed concern about the health of President Zardari and inquired about his health on the phone. According to the Government News Agency Associated Press of Pakistan, the Prime Minister wished him a quick recovery.

Health sector budget 5 lakh crores

This is not the first time that Zardari has been asked to take him abroad when his health deteriorated. In the past too, he has gone to Dubai or London instead of Pakistan for treatment. At the same time, common people of Pakistan are also struggling for basic medical treatment and the country’s economy is going down. However, one thing is not understood: What happens for about 4.5 crore rupees invested in the health sector in Pakistan? Due to which the President has to go to Dubai to treat fever and infection. In such a situation, the question arises that when ordinary citizens are struggling with inflation and lack of medicines, then what is the need to go abroad for treatment for the top leaders of the country? Is Pakistan’s healthcare system so bad that the President has also lost confidence in his country?
