Pakistan airspace Closed for Commercial Flights: India took revenge on the Pahalgam attack and launched airstrikes on 9 terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir on Wednesday night. The Pakistan Airport Authority (PPA) issued a statement late on Wednesday, saying, “The airspace of the country at Lahore and Islamabad Airports has been closed for all commercial flights.” However, Karachi Airport is operational.
Aircraft closed for 48 hours after Indian attack
After India’s attack, Pakistan announced the closure of its airspace for all air traffic for 48 hours. India launched military attacks on terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan authorized Kashmir, killing about 90 terrorists.
PPA complained to ICAO
After the Indian attacks, the Pakistan Airport Authority complained to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The PPA told the ICAO that this inflammatory step of India pose a threat to civil aviation security.
