Talking to a news channel, Sabir Hussain said, “Religion is often misused to spread violence. I do not disrespect any religion. It is my personal decision. I have seen how religion is used as a weapon to spread violence. This has happened many times in Kashmir. I can’t afford it anymore.”
Sabir Hussain said, “I just want people to know me as a human being, not because of my religion. Religion is misused in violent incidents like Pahalgam. How can someone be right to kill because of his religion? This has touched my heart deeply.”
Speaking about the current situation, Sabir said, “I do not want to live in a world where everything revolves around religion.” Sabir Hussain has taken this decision only for himself. Sabir said that his wife and children have complete freedom to choose the path of their choice.
