However, former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party PTI has refused to attend the meeting. According to the information received, there will be a special emergency meeting of the National Assembly at Parliament House in Islamabad on 5 May 2025. This meeting is likely to be important for the security system of the country.
The President of Pakistan has called this meeting. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Army Chief General Aseem Munir, leaders of all parties, ministers and security experts will participate in this meeting. PTI refused to attend the meeting
But former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s PTI party has decided not to participate in this meeting. PTI has issued a statement on the social media platform X. In this statement, PTI has accused the government of not making any effort towards national unity. The PTI party has also said that Imran Khan has not been taken into confidence. The PTI party has also made it clear that it condemns terrorism. However, the government has held a unilateral meeting without holding a meeting without taking all parties in confidence.
Pakistan’s growing uneasiness
