These people suddenly started firing on tourists who came to visit Basaron, six kilometers from Pahalgam.
Who was the mastermind of Pahalgam attack?
Security agencies have described Lashkar-e-Taiba’s top terrorist Saifullah Kasuri alias Khalid as the mastermind of the attack. The digital footprints of these terrorists have been found to be associated with safe targets in Muzaffarabad and Karachi in Pakistan, which makes it clear that the plot of this terrorist attack was across the border.
The terrorists came wearing army uniforms.
After the attack, security forces reported that five to six terrorists wearing military style clothes and kurta-pajamas came from nearby dense forests and had dangerous weapons such as AK-47.
