Pahalgam Terror Attack News: Security agencies have put up posters of three Pakistani terrorists involved in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April. 26 tourists were killed in this attack. Posters with ‘terrorism-free Kashmir’ messages have been put up at many places in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir. In these posters, a reward of Rs 20 lakh has been announced to those who give reliable information about terrorists. The agencies have also assured that the identity of those who give information will be kept completely confidential.

India’s Operation Sindoor

India started Operation Sindoor on 7 May in response to the Pahalgam attack. In this, nine terrorist camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir were completely destroyed. More than 100 terrorists were killed in this operation. The purpose of this operation was to give a strong message to those who have shelter and support terrorist activities from across the border. At the same time, Pakistan started attacking Indian military bases and civil areas near the international border. India targeted 11 specific Pakistani air bases, giving quick and decisive reactions. After several days of tension on the Line of Control, the two countries declared a ceasefire on 10 May. However, the same night Pakistan again violated the ceasefire.

Indo-Pakistan DGMMADIL Dialogue

Yesterday there was a re -discussion between the DGMOs of the two countries. The hotline was discussed between India’s DGMO Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai and Pakistan’s DGMO Major General Kashif Abdullah at 5 pm. In this, both sides agreed to consider reducing the number of soldiers on the border and in advance areas. He was also asked not to attack any kind.
