News India Live, Digital Desk: Pakistan’s direct role has been revealed in the terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Although Pakistan is constantly denying, the initial report of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) clearly reveals that the terrorists were helped by the Pakistani Army and Intelligence Agency ISI in this attack.
The NIA investigation has revealed that the Pahalgam attack was carried out by two Pakistani terrorists, Hashmi Moses and Ali Bhai alias Talha Bhai. Both these terrorists came from Pakistan. According to the NIA, the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, Pakistani Army and ISI are behind the attack. The terrorists had already hidden the arms required for the attack in the desperate valley.
The investigation also revealed the role of ‘Over Ground Workers’ (OGW). The NIA has prepared a list of suspects related to OGW and now preparations are underway for administrative and judicial action. So far, statements of about 150 people have been recorded.
The investigating agency has also included 3D mapping and recreation of the incident site in its report. Also, Forensic Science Lab (FSL) has been sent to investigate the vacant cartridges recovered from the spot, which has not yet been reported. According to the NIA report, the terrorists were constantly in touch with their handlers in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK).
26 people died in this terrorist attack, most of which were tourists. After the attack, India has taken many tough measures against Pakistan, in which the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty is prominent.
