Pakistani airspace: Many international airlines are now avoiding flying from Pakistani airspace due to increasing tension between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam attack.

There is an atmosphere of tension between India and Pakistan after the terrorist attack on 22 April in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, several major international airlines such as Lufthansa and Air France have started using other routes escaping from Pakistani airspace. This has revealed this from flight tracking data released on Monday.

Action will be taken after the attack in Pahalgam

India criticized Pakistan after the Pahalgam attack. Pakistan also retaliated for Indian airlines, taking retaliation, but did not impose any ban on other international airlines.

Here, the Lufthansa Group has confirmed the news agency Reuters that due to the long travel period of Asian countries, its flights will not use Pakistani airspace for irregular periods.

Loss of revenue to Pakistan due to overflights

According to media reports, the reason for the new route is that on Sunday, Lufthansa’s Frankfurt-to-Delhi flight took an additional one hour to complete its journey. This will not only increase the time of travel, but will also increase fuel consumption, which will directly affect the airline companies. This change will also affect Pakistan’s flight revenue.

Pakistani airlines are being ignored

Apart from this, the flight tracking system has shown that the flights of British Airways, Swiss International Airlines and Emirates are passing through Delhi by changing their routes. After crossing the Arabian Sea, they are escaping from Pakistani airs and selecting most of the land routes for travel. British Airways and Emirates have not yet publicly commented on the matter. However, Air France has announced the cancellation of its flights from Pakistani airspace, citing increasing regional instability.

After this attack by Pakistan, India is getting support from the whole world and is also being criticized by Pakistan, yet Pakistan is doing nefarious acts one after the other.
