Mirzapur, 29 November (Hindustan Reporter). The Padyatra, which started from Surat under the Purvanchal State People’s Movement, reached the court of Mother Vindhyavasini on Friday, 29 November, the 23rd day. The aim of this movement is to form a separate Purvanchal state by separating 28 districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh. The padayatra is being led by Gujarat in-charge Amit Tiwari and Surat in-charge Sunil Maurya. During the journey, he raised the slogan of O Bholenath, make Purvanchal state.
This journey started from Surat on November 7 and passing through places like Jhabua, Ujjain, Bhopal, Sagar, Maihar, Rewa, reached Vindhyachal in Mirzapur on Friday. Here the local people gave a grand welcome to the agitators. National President Anuj Rahi Hindust. and National Treasurer Rajesh Pandey also participated in this visit. Many local people like Shailesh Verma, Subi Bano, Umesh Mishra, Amal Mishra and Harvansh Patel were present on this occasion.
Fast development expected from small states
Talking to journalists during the padyatra, Anuj Rahi said that UP is lagging behind in the country in per capita income. Formation of smaller states accelerates development, as seen in Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. General Secretary of the org.zation, Vandana Raghuvanshi said that administrative efficiency increases in small states, which leads to law and order and effective implementation of development plans.
End of the march in Kashi
This padyatra will end on December 2 in Varanasi with the darshan and worship of Baba Kaal Bhairav and Baba Vishwanath. Co-incharge of the movement in Mirzapur, Imtiaz Ahmed and National General Secretary Vandana Raghuvanshi also participated in the yatra.
