Dindori (Madhya Pradesh): A video has gone viral on social media where a pack of stray dogs girls attacked a girl on her way to home.
The incident was reported from ward number 09 of district headquarters, Dindori on Tuesday night, and the victim has sustained severe injuries.
In the viral video, it was seen that a woman was passing by, when suddenly a bunch of stray dogs ran towards her. She tried to run, however the canines surrounded her, leaving no scope to escape.
Alerted by the screams, another girl, who lives nearby, reached out for help and shooed away the strays.
According to information, the girl was returning home on the evening of 18th December. Around 6.30 pm, when she was passing through a road in ward number 09, the dogs brutally attacked her.
It was reported that the stray dogs reside near the house of a dog lover. After she heard the screams of a girl, she came out of her house and helped the girl. She has sustained various injuries.
The entire incident has been captured on the CCTV installed in the street.
Frightened, girl went to SDM Rambabu Dewangan office and filed a complaint. She narrated the incident, saying the lethal dog attack would have cost her life, if she was not saved on time. Taking cognisance of the video, he has given instructions to issue notice to the Municipal Corporation and the girl who has given shelter to the street dogs in the residential area.
