Mumbai-Pune fruit traders threw Turkish apples on the road and trampled Turkish apples on the road in protest against Turkey openly supported their enemy Pakistan during a tense position on the India-Pakistan border.

Apples in India come from Turkey in large quantities, but due to nationwide protest against Turkey, the fruit traders of Pune decided to stop importing apples from Turkey.

Sources in the fruit market of Navi Mumbai said that the Turkish apple season begins in July. Therefore, before that we will also decide to stop imports. Because whoever helps India’s enemies, business relations with him should be broken. Second, there is a large supply of apples from Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. So if we stop importing apples from Türkiye, then there will be no major impact.

Meanwhile, Pune fruit traders were reported to have threatened threats from Pakistan after a businessman’s decision to stop apple imports from Türkiye.
