PM Narendra Modi Inaugurates 6 Modern Railway Stations in MP Under Amrit Bharat Scheme | X / Mohan Yadav

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on, April 22,Thursday, virtually inaugurated 103 redeveloped railway stations across India under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Among these, six stations in MP —–Narmadapuram, Shridham, Katni South, Shajapur, Seoni, and Orchha have been upgraded with modern facilities at a cost of ₹86 crore.

These newly developed stations in Madhya Pradesh now have the  modern waiting rooms, clean toilets, digital display boards, coach indication systems, high mast lighting, and ramps for disabled passengers. Passengers will also see a touch of local culture and art at each station.

During the event, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav joined from Narmadapuram and praised the transformation. He also announced that Vande Bharat and Metro train coaches will be made at BHEL in Bhopal, which will boost local manufacturing and jobs.

Prime Minister Modi, addressing the nation virtually from Bikaner, said that these modern stations are examples of how India is moving forward. He emphasized that development is being carried out while preserving India’s cultural heritage. He also mentioned that the Orchha station will reflect the aura of Lord Ram, giving passengers a spiritual experience.
