Operation Sindoor: The Indian armed forces successfully carried out Operation Sindoor on the night of 7-8 May, in which terrorist structure across the border in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK) was targeted and destroyed. The operation included nine strategic attacks, seven of which were made from major bases in Jammu, aimed at terrorist camps located in front of Pir Panjal Range, an area that has seen a worrying increase in terrorist activities in recent years.
Indian Army officials said that the Poonch Brigade played an important role in Operation Sindoor, beyond the Line of Control (LoC) to fight continuous campaigns to counter the invasion of Pakistan without provocation. A senior military official said, “We didn’t wait to react; We were ready to answer. Poonch Brigade Operation was not only a part of Sindoor, but also his heart.”
The campaign was a planned reply to the recent Pakistan -sponsored terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the main objective of destroying the terrorist structure. Unlike Poonch, Rajouri and Akhnoor, six out of nine important goals in PoK areas were effectively attacked. As the tension increased and the Pakistani Army began indiscriminately targeted the civilian areas, the Indian Army focused its focus on military properties, and demonstrated unmatched accuracy and determination.
As soon as the threat of a drone flock was revealed, the army’s air defense units demonstrated extraordinary skills, prevented every aerial threat and protected the Indian region with unwavering vigilance.
Reports show that Pakistan has suffered heavy losses not only the workers but also morale, as their credibility is constantly falling within their own country. Intelligence information shows that the enemy has suffered heavy losses, the number of which is still being confirmed by the ongoing assets.
Operation Sindoor was planned very carefully, which targeted major establishments associated with notorious terrorist organizations like Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM), Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET). Notable targets included his headquarters in Bahawalpur and Muridke, which were successfully destroyed.
Following the attacks, Pakistan tried to retaliate against Indian military establishments, but they could not succeed in their objectives, and India’s counter -attacks led to more than 50 soldiers of their soldiers in the south of Pir Panjal.
In response to Pakistan’s aggressive actions, including drones and artillery attacks targeting civil areas, India’s air defense systems demonstrated notable efficiency. Turkish drones laden with explosives targeting Udhampur airbase were stopped in the middle air, protecting Indian military properties from potential damage. Remandable, some of these drones were indicated by Muridke on the drone, where the Indian armed forces first destroyed the headquarters of Lashkar.
Operation Sindoor has been postponed at the moment, but highly placed military officials have emphasized that the Indian Army is vigilant and is ready to decidely answer in the event of provocation. He said, “If challenged again, we will not answer words but with fire and resolve of our nation.”
