Operation Sindoor: The tension between India and Pakistan has once again reached its peak. On Wednesday, Pakistan made serious allegations on India’s military operations, calling them “a terrorist attack”. According to the ISPR department of the Pakistani Army, 31 civilians have been killed and 57 were seriously injured in Indian operations at six places. The Pakistani Army has also claimed to kill five Indian fighter aircraft, of which at least three have been accepted in India.
During these operations, there has been frequent firing along the Line of Control and the ‘Neelam-Zhelam’ hydroelectric project has also been targeted. The structures and systems of this project have been greatly damaged. The local administration in Muzaffarabad gave a clarification that the entrance of the project and an ambulance have been damaged. Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary said in a press conference that drinking water supply, irrigation systems and civil facilities are protected under the Geneva Convention and attacking them is a serious violation of international law.

America and Turkish intervention
The United States and Turkey have tried to intervene in this conflict. Former US President Donald Trump called the two countries to follow the path of peace, saying, “I want to stop it, and I am ready to help in any way.” Similarly, Turkish President Recep Tayyap Erdoan spoke to Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif over the phone and said that the policy of restraint is appropriate.
A UN spokesperson also expressed concern over the situation, saying that “the world cannot tolerate more struggle in South Asia”. Members of UNMOGIP (United Nations Supervisor Group on the Line of Control between India and Pakistan) visited the site of the recent attack and directly visited the casualties of the citizens.
India said in its support…
Meanwhile, India defended its action, saying that terrorist camps, arms reserves and training centers have been destroyed in these attacks. Foreign Secretary Vikram Egyptian said that this is a “retrospective and rigid step” to prevent possible attacks on India.
In this context, Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has confirmed that there has been contact between the National Security Advisers of the two countries. In view of the security situation, an emergency response center has been established in Azad Kashmir, while schools and public places have been closed until further orders. In view of this fierce struggle, the international community has appealed for peace and restraint. It is becoming a consensus on the fact that this struggle should now stop between two nuclear-skills countries of South Asia.
