The way the tension between India and Pakistan has increased and has taken violent form in the last few days, it is very worrying. The entire nation was angry at the death of 26 innocent Indian citizens in the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April. There was a demand for revenge everywhere.

In such a situation, the Government of India implemented ‘Operation Sindoor’ under a strong military strategy. In this operation, the Indian Army entered Pakistan and PoK for several kilometers and destroyed major terrorist bases. This action was so effective that after this, Pakistan itself took the initiative and appealed to India for a ceasefire.

On Saturday, at 3:35 pm, Pakistan’s Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) called the Indian DGMO and offered to stop firing and military action on all fronts. India agreed and implemented the ceasefire from 5 pm. The Ministry of External Affairs clarified that the scope of talks is limited to the ceasefire and no other issue will be discussed.

What did India achieve in Operation Sindoor?

1. 9 terrorist launchpad destroyed: India attacked 9 major terrorist bases located in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir. These hideouts were the operation and training centers of organizations such as Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed and Hizbul Mujahideen. The attack on him has broken the backbone of terrorism.

2. Attack on Pakistan: For the first time, India did not limit itself to PoK but attacked the sensitive areas of Pakistan like Punjab province. Places like Bahawalpur were targeted, where it is believed that Jaish is headquartered. These are the places where the US has not even sent its drones.

3. Pakistan’s air defense system opened: During this operation, it was observed that the Indian Air Force had completely exposed Pakistan’s air defense system. His real face came out. The entire operation was completed in just 23 minutes and no Indian aircraft was damaged. Rafale aircraft made accurate attacks using scalp and hammer missiles.

4. Just eye on terrorist bases: India gave a clear message that this fight is against terrorism, not against the people of Pakistan or the army. There was no damage to any military base or civilian site.

5. Wiped out of notorious terrorists: In this operation, many terrorists included in India’s most wanted list were eliminated. These terrorists were accused of planning several attacks in India. The leadership of these organizations ended overnight.

6. Joint action of the three armies: The unity of the Indian Army, Air Force and Navy was demonstrated while executing Operation Sindoor. This is a lively example of India’s joint military strategy and war skills.

7. India’s message at international level: India has made it clear that it no longer needs any permission to take action against terrorism. This message is not only for Pakistan but for the whole world that India will not compromise on the safety of its citizens. Overall, it seems that India has given the right message to the whole world through this.
