Operation Sindoor: Amid the increasing tension between India and Pakistan, the Nobel Peace Prize winner of Pakistani origin Malala Yusufzai has given an important statement giving the message of peace and humanity. After the Indian Army air strikes on terrorist camps in Pakistan and PoK under ‘Operation Sindoor’, Malala appealed for restraint in the two countries, saying, “We are not enemies of each other, our real enemies are terrorism and violence.”

Malala’s clear message, ‘No hate, dialogue is necessary’

Malala Yusufzai said in an interview, “Pakistan, India and other neighboring countries should come together to fight terrorism. We will not get anything by fighting each other. We should fight the forces that spread hatred and violence in the society.” He said that the struggle between India and Pakistan threatens the future of ordinary citizens of both countries, especially children. In such a situation, the political leadership needs to take decisions wisely.

Malala has directly experienced terrorism

Malala recalled her personal life experiences. He said, “I myself have been a victim of terrorism.” “In 2012, the Taliban attacked me just because I raised my voice for education.” Sharing this experience, Malala also said, “No person is a terrorist by birth. Society, circumstances and wrong ideology take him to that path.” He said that therefore terrorist ideology should be fought through education, dialogue and opportunity.

Appeal to Pakistan government on Twitter

Malala did not limit her message to interviews. He also clarified his position on Twitter. In his post, he said, “Disgust and violence are our common enemies. Leaders of India and Pakistan should reduce tension, protect citizens and unite against separatist forces.” He expressed his condolences to the innocent citizens of both countries, especially children and called for their safety. According to him, diplomatic means are the only effective solution to establish peace.

Also a message for international community

Malala also believes that not only India and Pakistan, but also the international community should intervene and promote peace. According to him, “Peace, cooperation and dialogue are the true pillars of stability and prosperity in this field.”

We need dialogue, not war.

Malala’s statement is a warning for political leaders. It is a relief for humanity amidst increasing tension between India and Pakistan that a terrorism victim has raised his voice for peace. Malala said in clear terms that there is a need to fight together against terrorism, violence and separatism. “India is not an enemy. The real enemy is terrorism.”
