In retaliation to the Pahalgam attack, the Indian military launched missile strikes early on May 7, 2025, targeting nine terrorist sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, focusing on Jaish-e-Mohammad in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba in Muridke.

Markaz Saidna Hazrat Abbas Bin Abdul Mutalib in Kotli, PoJK, houses 100-125 JeM cadres, hosting 40-50 regularly. Following the Pathankot attack, JeM’s arms stores were relocated here, with Qari Zarrar facilitating arms transport to Sialkot.
Markaz Taiba camp in Muridke – Terrorists who participated in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks were trained here. Ajmal Kasab and David Headley received training here.
Mehmoona Joya camp in Sialkot- Pathankot air force base camp attack was planned and carried out from this terrorist camp.
Barnala camp in Bhimber was a centre for handling weapons and explosives and training in jungle survival.
Gulpur camp in Kotli was an LeT base for training terrorists involved in attacks in Rajouri and Poonch on April 20, 2023, and June 9, 2024.
Syedna Bilal Camp located in Muzaffarabad, served as a staging ground for Jaish-e-Mohammed. This was also a centre for training in weapons, explosives, and jungle survival.
Sawai Nala camp in Muzaffarabad served as a training centre for Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists involved in various attacks from October 2024 to April 2025.
Markaz Subhanallah in Bahawalpur- This is the HQ of Jaish-e-Muhammad. Recruitment, training, and indoctrination were carried out here.
Sarjal camp in Sialkot – Terrorists who killed four J&K police personnel in March 2025 received their training at this camp.
