High alert has been issued in India after Operation Sindoor. Police have been ordered to be on high alert in almost all major cities of the country. After ‘Operation Sindoor’, 27 airports across the country have been temporarily closed as a security measure. These airports will remain closed till 5.29 am on Saturday (May 10).
Apart from this, Indian airlines canceled a total of 430 flights on Thursday (May 08). This is 3 percent of the total scheduled flights in India. India has taken this decision after attacks on nine terrorist camps in Pakistan. What is your advice for passengers?
After the cancellation of the flights, all the airports have issued advice for passengers. In view of the current situation, the journey is not advised. Passengers whose flights have been canceled or re -determined have been asked to contact the concerned airline. The Delhi Airport issued a consultation for the passengers, stating that all operations on the Terminal of the Delhi Airport and all four runways are continuing normally. Some flights have been affected due to the changing weather conditions. Passengers are advised to contact their respective airlines for updated information of flight. We are working closely with all stakeholders to minimize any interruption in the flight program. It was told that the safety and convenience of passengers is our top priority.
