Flight canceled : The Indian Army has given a befitting reply to the Pahalgam attack to Pakistan. The army has carried out air strikes in Pakistan and PoK under Operation Sindoor, causing panic. The army conducted this operation late on the night of May 6-7, in which 9 terrorist hideouts were destroyed in Pakistan and PoK. Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khwaja Asif has denied any retaliation after the attack, although India has made full preparations for Pakistan’s counter -attack. India has closed 18 airports in the country under preparations.
These airports were closed after air strike
India has retaliated strongly after the death of 26 people in indiscriminate firing by terrorists in Pahalgam. However, India is fully prepared to respond to any attack in Pakistan. India has temporarily closed 18 airports in northern and western India as a precaution. According to sources, these include Srinagar Airport, Leh, Jammu, Amritsar, Pathankot, Chandigarh, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Shimla, Dharamshala and Jamnagar.
430 flights canceled
Several flights run at the airport have been directly affected after the air strikes by the three Indian forces under Operation Sindoor in Pakistan. According to Flightradar-24, a total of 430 flights have been canceled so far. The highest 160 flights have been canceled by Indigo Airlines.
The cancellation of tickets has been made free of cost.
In this regard, Air India has stated on social media that flights to Jammu, Srinagar, Leh, Jodhpur, Amritsar, Bhuj, Jamnagar, Chandigarh and Rajkot Airports have been canceled by 5.29 am on May 10 and the fee has been waived for cancellation or re -determination of tickets. During this period, re -radiation fee for legitimate tickets will be exempted once.
Passengers request to keep update information
IndiGo Airlines has advised passengers to get information about the status of their flights before reaching the airport. SpiceJet Airlines said that the airports in parts of North India including Dharamshala, Leh, Jammu, Srinagar and Amritsar will remain closed till further orders, so flights may be affected. Akasa Air has also shared a post on social media and said that all its flights going to and from Srinagar have been canceled due to the current situation.
