Open overcrowding at liquor shops in Badaun district, administration silent!

Badaun (Uttar Pradesh) – In all the tehsils of Badaun district, indigenous liquor shops are openly overcating and the administration is completely blinded. In Tehsil Badaun and Dataganj, where the authorized value of country liquor is ₹ 75, shopkeepers are openly selling the same bottle for ₹ 80.

Things in Bilsi, Sahaswan and Bisauli worse

The situation is even more serious in Bilsi, Sahaswan and Bisauli tehsils of Badaun district. Here the country liquor of ₹ 75 is being sold indiscriminately for ₹ 85. Many times complaints of this illegal recovery were made to the District Excise Officer, but no action has been taken so far.

Complainants are being blocked, video also viral

People trying to register a complaint are also being ignored. When some people tried to raise the matter from the Excise Deputy in Bareilly, they blocked the number of complainants. The video of this attitude is also going viral on social media.

Joint Commissioner shown up

When this oversight complaint was made to the Joint Commissioner Excise, he put the matter in the court of District Excise Officer Badaun. Also, no concrete answer was given on the viral video and no action was taken.

Is there no effect of Yogi government orders?

The question arises whether the Uttar Pradesh government led by Yogi Adityanath has no effect on the Excise Department? The public’s pocket is being robbed and the officials are careless. It remains to be seen how long the government will continue to ignore this negligence and when the culprits will be processed.
